Christmas Pudding Tree Ornament

"A great deal of steam! The pudding was out of the copper... in half a minute Mrs Cratchit entered - flushed, but smiling proudly..."

Charles Dickens helped popularise the concept of a Christmas pudding. Though it had existed for centuries as a celebratory dish, 'figgy pudding' as it was previously known was eaten for a whole variety of occasions. But with the publication of 'A Christmas Carol' in 1843 the dish became iconic as the exciting finale of the Christmas dinner.

Celebrating Dickens's glorious connections with the Christmas pudding, we're delighted to bring you this glittering Christmas tree ornament helping you to capture the wonderful joy of the Christmas of yesteryear. Designed in London, this tree decoration is handmade.
